Kaiden Guhle has quickly become the favorite flavor in the last few days as he is straight as an oak. His impressive size, composure and quality of play have proven how smart of a pick he was in the first round of the 2020 auction.

Norman Flynn compared him to a better Hal Gill, which got him a round in the twister because his comparison doesn't make sense. Others point out that his game is similar to Shea Weber, while François Gagnon compared him to a certain Wade Redden.

That's not all, far from it! Jean-Charles Lajoie also shook up the crowd live from his TVA Sports set. During the rookie debate between Anthony Martineau and Nicolas Cloutier, who compared Guhle to Jakob Chychrun and Darnell Nurse, respectively, JiC flat out shook them up with HIS comparison...

"Kaiden Guhle is flat out a Victor Hedman in 7/10 strength! The way he handles himself on the ice, cuts up the ice, saves, hits when it's time, plays his stick when it's time, supports the offense when it's time, has a great first pass... He does everything well! He's a 7/10 Victor Hedman in that Hedman is a 10/10!"

What do you think of the portrait JiC painted about Guhle?
