We experienced a funny little moment towards the end of the Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis's press conference today.
After almost a week of being questioned and having to address various issues, St-Louis received a small «gift» from the journalists, a little «break.»
While he usually holds press conferences lasting 15 to 25 minutes, today, the journalists barely asked him any questions, allowing him to leave the press conference quickly (after just a few minutes).
Martin St-Louis only spent a few minutes with the journalists today
And his reaction spoke volumes.
We love it! It's understandable that Martin St-Louis might not always enjoy lengthy press conferences, and his reaction above says a lot, but it's worth noting that he is always very generous with his time.
The hot topics were addressed over the past few days, and all lineup changes were announced yesterday, giving the media a chance to give MSL a brief break, which they took.
It's a very good thing.
Now, on to the game!
Let's not forget that Martin St-Louis and the Montreal Canadiens face off against the St. Louis Blues tonight at the Bell Centre.
Also, young defenseman Arber Xhekaj will be back in the lineup after receiving a very clear message from his head coach yesterday morning.
For the (short) full version of MSL's press conference today, it's right here.
What's your prediction for tonight's game?
