Cayden Primeau has just won a surprising award
In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens made a very interesting announcement.
As you know, since the Jake Allen trade, the young Cayden Primeau has been simply on fire.

Just how solid has he been? Well, to the point where he has actually just won the Molson Cup for the month of March! Solid!
This is unprecedented for a number two goaltender for the Canadiens!
Primeau, who was named the first star of the game twice (on March 12 against the Blue Jackets and March 28 against the Flyers), has an outstanding record of 3-1-1 this month.
He also maintained a 1.97 average as well as a save percentage of .939.

Primeau was named the first star twice (on March 12 against Columbus and on March 28 against Philadelphia) as well as the third star on one occasion (on March 24 in Seattle). In five games in March, the 24-year-old goaltender posted a record of 3-1-1, in addition to maintaining a goals-against average of 1.97 and a save percentage of .939. Primeau also recorded his second NHL shutout on March 12 against Columbus.

Looking at the whole season, Primeau, 24 years old, has a record of 8-7-2, a goals-against average per game of 2.75, and an efficiency rate of 0.913.
