This is very interesting. In a recent article on La Presse's website, journalist Simon-Olivier Lorange revealed quite a bit of information involving defenseman Jayden Struble.

As you know, Struble missed four games due to an injury over the last few weeks? Not so fast.

According to what Lorange has just disclosed, during two of the four games in which Struble was in the stands, he was available and healthy!

Martin St-Louis simply chose to leave him out.

Since he was "injured," it went unnoticed.

Recent comments from the head coach seem to corroborate this information and seem to confirm that Struble has slowed down:

"His play is not at the level of what he has shown us. He's not as consistent anymore." - Martin St-Louis, on Jayden Struble

Not so long ago, everyone was talking about how Arber Xhekaj had been displaced and had his position stolen by Struble, but this is clearly no longer the case.

The Sheriff has taken his place ahead of Struble in the hierarchy, and it's to his credit because he did it by raising his level of play by several notches. Today, he is the one paired with David Savard, and he is the one with the big minutes.

With the imminent arrival of Lane Hutson and David Reinbacher, what's going to happen with Jayden Struble? To be continued, but let's remember that the CH sent him down to the Laval Rocket, via paper transaction, last Friday so the AHL remains an option for him.

What would you do, if it was your decision?
