The Montreal Canadiens just released a very interesting statement, featuring comments from Kent Hughes and Nick Bobrov.

Earlier, we discussed Kent Hughes' remarks regarding Ivan Demidov, but in the article in question, there is also mention of the Canadiens' 21st overall pick in 2024, Michael Hage.

It was quite a moment for the Canadiens live from Las Vegas, as Hage was drafted by the team he idolized in his childhood.

"He was one of the biggest names in the Draft. A player like him, in a normal year, wouldn't have slipped to the 21st spot."

Michael Hage, 18 years old, is a 6-foot-1, 187-pound forward. Last season, he accumulated 75 points, including 33 goals, in 54 games with the Chicago Steel. (4 points in 2 playoff games)

This season, he will be playing in the NCAA with Michigan University. We are really excited to see what the future holds for him.
