The NHL announces a change on the first goal scored by the Montreal Canadiens

In the last few minutes, the National Hockey League officially announced a change to the first goal scored by the Montreal Canadiens last night.

It's surprising that it took so long because Lane Hutson practically did everything on the play, but now, it's official.

The NHL added an assist to Hutson on the 1st goal scored by the Habs against the Ottawa Senators, which was scored by Emil Heineman (his 1st career goal).
