We've had a major announcement involving several players, including Cole Caufield, in the last few minutes.
The rumour had been circulating for a while, but it has just been made official.
No surprise, Cole Caufield is part of the USA lineup for the Ice Hockey World Championship
It's confirmed! We will be able to see the number 22 from the Montreal Canadiens in action over the next few weeks, and he will be in excellent company.

Caufield is thus joining Juraj Slafkovsky, who will also be present for the Ice Hockey World Championship and will be wearing the colors of Slovakia, and he will have the chance to meet several of his good friends, including Trevor Zegras.
A Caufield/Zegras combination could be a dream for many fans of the Montreal Canadiens so it will be interesting to follow.
Caufield, 23 years old, 15th overall pick of the Habs in 2019 (1st round) has amassed 65 points in 82 games this season in the NHL, including 28 goals.
He is signed until 2031 for $7.85 million dollars per year.
