Scary scene: a Rangers forward sees part of his mouth fall on the ice
During a recent New York Rangers game against the Ottawa Senators, forward Barclay Goodrow suffered a horrific injury following this sequence.
In a press conference, he confessed to being really scared:
«A part of my mouth that should still be in my mouth ended up on the ice at the Canadian Tire Centre.»
«It's scary,» he stated on Tuesday, as reported by the «New York Post» newspaper. [...] I felt like my mouth was in a million pieces.» - Goodrow
Ouch. It's not so rare for players to lose teeth during a match, but in Goodrow's case, it was evidently much worse, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
«I'm just trying to figure out how to get protein and everything I need in a form other than solids,» Goodrow added.
