Montreal Canadiens fans have always held a special place in their hearts for Penguins forward Sidney Crosby.
The Bell Centre crowd has often been criticized for their treatment of certain players, notably Connor McDavid, but once again, Montreal Canadiens fans showed immense class tonight.
An Exceptional Welcome for Captain Sidney Crosby at the Bell Centre
It's extremely rare to see this for an opposing player, but Crosby was warmly welcomed by the Montreal crowd.
In fact, Montreal is the only city that welcomes number 87 so well.

Sidney Crosby, 37 years old, is a 5 foot 11, 200-pound forward who was drafted first overall in the 2005 NHL Draft.
He has accumulated 1,599 points in 1,275 career games, including 592 goals, and has three points in three games so far this season.
The Penguins' captain absolutely deserves such a reception, and kudos to Habs fans for this beautiful moment. Keep it up Sid!
