Auston Matthews has left the game after he blocked a shot, which suggests that he might be injured.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have already played eight games without Matthews this year, and they will likely face more challenges if he is out for an extended period, given that he is their top center. Hopefully, him leaving the game does not indicate a long-term injury.
The shot that Matthews blocked hit him on the inside of his knee, which is considered one of the most dangerous areas to get impact.
