He's getting criticized everywhere, night after night on social media, by Toronto fans. It's gotten to a point where it's sad.
Anyway, it unfortunately seems to be becoming clearer and clearer that they no longer want him and they are fed up.
Anyway, it's obvious that if the Leafs do indeed get eliminated in the first round of the playoffs again, there will be huge changes.
They can't really trade Auston Matthews, so these huge changes would involve more players like Mitch Marner and William Nylander.
Nylander seems to be appreciated there, however, and he is probably the one who steps up the most in the playoffs:
He's the one who put Marner in his place last night.
Biz also let Marner have it as he completely destroyed him on live tv:
Mitch Marner, 26 years old, 4th overall pick in the first round of the 2015 NHL draft, has collected 85 points in 69 games this season.
He had amassed 99 points in 80 games last season, and he has a career total of 639 points in 576 NHL games. In the playoffs, he has 16 points in his last 15 games.
Marner is signed until 2025, at $10,903 million per year.
Would you pay the high price to acquire him via trade?
