During the second period of the match-up between the Winnipeg Jets and the Vegas Golden Knights, we witnessed a scene that sent shivers down the spine.
It could have ended really badly.
Justin Barron's brother, Morgan, was seriously cut by an opponent's skate.
See the sequence in question:
Barron needed 75 stitches, imagine that!
A chaotic sequence that miraculously ends without major consequences.
Barron escaped with minimal long-term damage and the Golden Knights got away without conceding a goal.
We still don't understand how the puck stayed out of the net.
