In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization made a major announcement regarding forward Christian Dvorak.
We didn't see it coming at all (although we probably should have), but another CH player has seen his season end prematurely.
Check out the Montreal Canadiens announcement:
"General Manager Kent Hughes announced today that forward Christian Dvorak underwent knee surgery in New York today (Hospital for Special Surgery) and that his season is over.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Marx and a full recovery is expected before the start of next season.
The 27-year-old American forward has scored 10 goals and added 18 assists in 64 games this season.
Dvorak collected the 200th point of his NHL career on Feb. 12 against the Edmonton Oilers."
- Montreal Canadiens
Dvorak ends his 2022-23 season with 28 points in 64 games. He underwent knee surgery today.
More details to follow.
Dvorak injured his knee on March 7 against the Carolina Hurricanes.
