In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization made a major announcement.
See the official statement.
"The Canadiens have placed defenseman Gustav Lindström on waivers."
- Montreal Canadiens
After Joel Armia a few weeks ago, Kent Hughes is thus making another player completely available for free in Lindstrom.
Knowing that several defensemen of the same style have been claimed in the last few days, such as Tobias Bjornfot and Jaycob Megna, do you think Lindstrom will be claimed tomorrow at 2 PM?
To be continued!
Details will follow. If he is not claimed, he will report to the Laval Rocket in the AHL.
Lindstrom, 25 years old, has accumulated 29 points in 142 career NHL games, including 4 points in 14 games this season with the Tricolore.
He is a 38th overall pick of the Red Wings in 2017 (2nd round) and was acquired in the Jeff Petry trade with Detroit.
Details to follow.
