Alert: A player from the Montreal Canadiens has just moved to the New York Rangers and it's the forward Alex Belzile
As reported by journalist Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, the much-admired forward Alex Belzile is moving from the Montreal Canadiens to the New York Rangers.
"Two-year contract for Alex Belzile with the New York Rangers, with one year on a two-way deal and the other on a one-way deal." - Renaud Lavoie
This is of course a big loss for the Canadiens' organization and for our locker room, but we sincerely wish him the best of luck going forward.
"Belzile wanted a one-way deal and although he has to wait a year, he got one. It did not seem like an offer that was available to him in Montreal." - Arpon Basu
