Four players have just been placed on the trade market, including one big name and a surprise
Things might start heating up soon on the NHL trade market.
In the last few hours, the highly reputed insider Pierre LeBrun has revealed the names of four players who have officially been placed on the market.
Four players from the Calgary Flames, including a big surprise.
According to LeBrun, defensemen Nikita Zadorov, Chris Tanev, and Noah Hanifin will be traded by the trade deadline. Wow, that's big.
But there's more.
The insider also adds the name of star forward Elias Lindholm to the list. He too would be available and is expected to be traded before the deadline.
A huge turn of events and quite a surprise.
Lindholm, 28, has gathered 82 and 64 points over the last two seasons as the Flames' first center. This year, he has 8 points in 15 games. He earns 4.85 million annually.
Tanev, 33, is one of the best defensive defensemen in the league, Zadorov brings a lot of toughness, while Hanifin is a very talented 26-year-old defenseman.
Hanifin, a 5th overall pick in 2015, has accumulated 6 points in 15 games this season, 38 points last season, and nearly 50 points the season before.
There will be great interest in these four players!
LeBrun on Insider Trading: «What teams are telling us is that the Flames are listening in on the others pending UFAs as well: Chris Tanev, Noah Hanifin, Elias Lindholm. The Flames are ready for a roster reset».
