As you know, the Montreal Canadiens still have three goalies in their NHL lineup to start the year 2024, despite the many attempts by general manager Kent Hughes to make a trade to resolve this issue.

Elliotte Friedman recently mentioned that Hughes is indeed in the category of 'sellers' of goalies, that he is trying to trade one, but that he also wants to obtain a reasonable price in exchange for Cayden Primeau or Jake Allen.

Allen, 33 years old, has a record of 4-7-2 this season, a goals-against average of 3.40, and a save percentage of 0.903. He earns 3.85 million per season until the summer of 2025.
