In an article published in the last few hours by the excellent Arpon Basu, we learn what the Canadiens would apparently like to offer as a "package" to acquire forward Pierre-Luc Dubois from the Winnipeg Jets.
See the excerpt in question:
"The Canadiens would certainly like to create a package centered around Christian Dvorak, Josh Anderson, and one or two prospects, but why would the Jets do that when there would be better players offered by other clubs."
- Arpon Basu It will be truly fascinating to finally see the resolution of this case, and above all, it will be interesting to see if Kent Hughes can perform some magic by acquiring Pierre-Luc Dubois without having to part with Kirby Dach.
Because Dach, we really want to keep him!
Dach, 22 years old, is a third overall pick in 2019. He has scored 38 points in 58 games this season. He will earn less than $3.4 million next year.
Dubois, 24 years old, is a third overall pick in 2016. He has scored 63 points in 73 games this season. He will earn more than $7.5 million next year.
