The Boston Bruins have just placed an interesting player on waivers
We had a surprise at the NHL waivers in the last few minutes, and it comes from the Boston Bruins.
Mitchell, 24, is a right-handed defenseman drafted in the 2nd round in 2017 by the Chicago Blackhawks.
His arrival in the NHL was highly anticipated, as he completely dominated the NCAA.
After amassing 18 points in the NHL, and 6 points in 5 games in the AHL last year, Mitchell is now available for free!
Interestingly, he is the main piece obtained by the Boston Bruins in the Taylor Hall trade, the former 1st overall pick. Wow.
Reminder of the trade.
He will know his next destination by tomorrow at 2 p.m., but we should not expect him to end up with the Montreal Canadiens, who already have too many defensemen.
To be continued.
