According to reports by Frank Seravalli, the Florida Panthers have just traded forward Anthony Duclair to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for Steven Lorentz.

"#FlaPanthers have traded Anthony Duclair to #sjsharks. There is a player coming back in the deal.

Sounds like the move is cap-driven to make something else happen for #TimeToHunt." - Frank Seravalli

The Quebec native missed several games this year due to injury, recording 9 points in 20 games. However, Anthony Duclair had an excellent season in 2021-2022 with 31 goals and 27 assists (58 points) in 74 games.

As for Steven Lorentz, the 27-year-old forward accumulated a total of 19 points in 80 games. He is currently earning a salary of $1.05 million until the end of next season.
