Present at a press conference in the last few minutes, the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, has shared many interesting new pieces of information with us.

In particular, he was asked about the health and physical condition of his new acquisition, Tanner Pearson.

Hughes therefore mentioned that Pearson is not at 100%, but he will still be able to participate in the Canadiens' camp starting tomorrow.

This is good news regarding his health status.

However, considering that Pearson only played 14 games last season, and considering he has had major injury problems, many are worried about his physical condition.

Is he ready to play hockey and to perform?

On this subject, Kent Hughes gave a very interesting response.

«Anthony Beauvillier sent me a text message last night to tell me that Pearson has skated with the team (Vancouver) to stay in shape, and that he is ready.»

Interesting! We salute Beauvillier, who has provided valuable details to the general manager of the Montreal Canadiens and who evidently has a great relationship with Kent Hughes. We love it.

Beauvillier, 26 years old, is a 5-foot-11 forward native from Sorel. He was a 1st round pick (28th overall) of the New York Islanders in 2015.

He amassed 20 points (9 goals) in 33 games with the Canucks last season.
