Trade market: We have just learned that Sergachev is believed to have a higher value than Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki
Recently, the media outlet "The Athletic" published a very interesting article, in which they rank, in order, the 100 NHL players with the best trade value.
Yes, there are surprises.
See the ranking in question.
Unsurprisingly, according to them, Connor McDavid is the player with the highest value in the NHL, ahead of Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon.
It's also interesting to note that Jack Hughes and Connor Bedard respectively outpace Auston Matthews.
If we look at the two stars of the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, they are quite far behind.
Caufield is 62nd, behind names like Juuse Saros, Brad Marchand, Anze Kopitar (36 years old), Trevor Zegras, Matthew Boldy, K'Andre Miller, and Mikhail Sergachev.
As for captain Nick Suzuki, he is 78th, behind Vince Dunn, Darnell Nurse, Jaccob Slavin, and Devon Toews.
Are you surprised by this ranking?
