Six players have just been placed on NHL waivers, including two former Canadiens
We have some action on the NHL waiver wire, and it's always interesting to keep an eye on for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
Let's remember that the Habs have a very high priority for claiming players on waivers, and if an appealing name becomes available, Hughes is among the top five GMs with the first right to claim.
In short, knowing this, note that there are six players available on waivers today.
Among the names placed on waivers, there are indeed a few familiar faces for the Habs fans.
The Calgary Flames have placed Jarred Tinordi, Dryden Hunt, and Walker Duehr on waivers, the Toronto Maple Leafs have put Nick Abruzzese on waivers, the Nashville Predators have waived Nick Blankenburg, and the Seattle Kraken have placed Cale Fleury on waivers (yes, the former Montreal Canadiens player).
