Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens have just received a golden opportunity to trade Christian Dvorak to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Jets are desperately looking for a center, and they have made offers to acquire relatively similar players.
«Dreger: 'Tough day for the Winnipeg Jets, by the way, they tried to extend Sean Monahan, it didn't work, he's going to Columbus, they tried to sign Henrique... it didn't work, they tried for Lizotte, it didn't work. Chevy has work to do.'» - Via Darren Dreger's podcast

Obviously, Sean Monahan is a much better player than Christian Dvorak, but the same cannot be said for Adam Henrique and Blake Lizotte.

A trade between the Montreal Canadiens and the Winnipeg Jets involving Christian Dvorak?

This is very good news for Kent Hughes, and he should certainly try to offer Dvorak to the Jets (knowing all this).
If Winnipeg was so eager to sign Henrique or Lizotte, I don't see why they wouldn't be interested in acquiring Dvorak.
Christian Dvorak, 28 years old, was a second-round pick by the Arizona Coyotes in 2014 and has amassed 9 points in 30 games this season, but 28 points in 64 games last season (33 points in 56 games before that).
He has a total of 216 points in 452 career NHL games and earns $4.45 million per year until 2025.
What would you ask from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Christian Dvorak?
