During a press conference in the last few minutes at the NHL Governors' meeting, Commissioner Gary Bettman was questioned about former Montreal Canadien Corey Perry.

So there it is! There will be no further investigation, and as for his return to play, it is to be determined.
It's reminiscent of his summer speech regarding Logan Mailloux. In essence, he says "we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." He will make his decision when Perry has also made his.
