Rumor involving Jesperi Kotkaniemi: TVA Sports just added more to it
The former Montreal Canadien forward, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, is not doing well this season.
As we reported earlier today, he might be about to receive quite a slap in the face.
He is on the verge of being removed from his team's lineup, possibly even tonight against his former team - the Montreal Canadiens.
In any case, that's the rumor that has been circulating for a few hours.
Kotkaniemi is now in a four-player rotation for the three spots on the fourth line:
"Noesen, Drury, Kotkaniemi, and Fast rotating on the fourth line for drills." - Cory Lavalette
While the Finnish forward has only accumulated 9 points in his last 52 games, he unfortunately no longer seems to be in the plans of the Carolina Hurricanes.
They have moved on.
In connection with the rumor that KK might eventually be sent to the stands (possibly as early as tonight), the very reliable network TVA Sports has just added more to it.
Stay tuned for updates in the coming minutes, but even if he plays tonight, know that his turn in the stands is approaching.
For nearly 40 million dollars over 8 years, that's expensive for a surplus player.
