A former Blackhawks employee files a lawsuit
You can guess that people are making connections with previous scandals involving the Chicago organization, especially since the lawsuit filed Tuesday night in Cook County Circuit Court also targets a "man who works for the Blackhawks."
A new lawsuit has been filed against the Chicago Blackhawks by a woman who worked as a contractor with the team, alleging se*ual harassment in 2022 as well as fraud and breach of contract.
The Blackhawks said in a statement that they investigated her harassment allegations and found insufficient evidence to substantiate them
Initially hired to restore connections between the organization and the Indigenous community, she alleges she was quickly sidelined and forced to resign.
The lawsuit also alleges she was harassed by a man who works for the Blackhawks, stating that he made "unwanted advances" - Via TVA Sports.ca
And there were allegedly non-consensual physical contacts, which is very serious.
