Shocking Scene in Pittsburgh: the Minnesota Wild are Truly Embarrassing
As you have probably already heard today, despite playing two games in two nights, the Minnesota Wild made the completely ridiculous decision not to put Marc-André Fleury in goal tonight in Pittsburgh against the Penguins.
It would have been a special moment and a great story.
"Fleury will probably play his last game at PPG Paints Arena, where he spent the majority of his career, but he will do so from the end of the bench. It's his coach's decision."
They decided that Fleury would play tomorrow in Boston after all.
Not only is it a shame for the Quebec goaltender, who has an extremely special bond with Pittsburgh, but it also puts their young goaltender Filip Gustavsson in an uncomfortable situation.
See what has been said since the beginning of the match in the stands:
It's rare to see this, but the crowd is constantly calling for Fleury to be sent into the fray.
