With the NHL trade deadline fast approaching, with Sean Monahan finally starting to skate again and with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, the excellent PM Perron has raised a concrete trade proposal involving the Montreal Canadiens and the Minnesota Wild.

It's no secret that the Wild are among the buyers and they absolutely need to get a center.

Check out his proposal:

"A healthy Sean Monahan [50% salary retained] could be the perfect center for Kirill Kaprizov and Mats Zuccarello.

Prospect Brock Faber would be an interesting return for the Montreal Canadiens. Picks could also be involved to even things out." - PM Perron
