There was hockey last night, live from Toronto, if you weren't already aware of it. Fortunately, those who weren't aware of this game between the Habs and Leafs didn't miss much as the Habs lost 4-1, without really offering any opposition.

In defeat, the players and coaches were quite clear and unanimous in the dressing room after the game. The first comments coming from Dom Ducharme spoke volumes, admitting that it was the team's first game and that no one stood out.

Russian defenseman Alexander Romanov was also not tender regarding himself and his teammates saying that there was absolutely nothing good about last night's game.

The good news is that it was only a pre-season game. The Canadiens will be able to prepare for the second game of their preseason schedule tomorrow night against the Leafs.

Today, the team will hold its traditional inter group game at the Bell Centre in front of 7500 fans. Let's hope that the crowd will be good for the Habs players!
