For the past few days, the name Ben Chiarot has been buzzing through the NHL.
The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers may soon show interest in the Montreal Canadiens' number 8, according to several rumors.
Moreover, according to the insider Elliotte Friedman, the St.Louis Blues are likely to be interested in the 234-pound colossus.
He would even fit very well in the style of the Blues, they who like the strong defenders that are good defensively. One can easily think of Colton Parayko, Robert Bortuzzo and Marco Scandella.
The Missouri squad will inevitably want to add important defensive elements to their lineup, with the aim of making a long way in the playoffs. It's defense that wins championships, they say.
They already have a good balanced team, hence their 19 wins in 33 meetings.
Add to this mix a Ben Chiarot, who excels in the playoffs, and the Blues could become aspirants to great honors very soon.
