Since the announcement of Guy Lafleur's death at the age of 70, tributes have come from all over Quebec.

On the sports scene as well as in the political and artistic world, everyone has paid tribute to the famous number 10. While the blond devil was celebrated one last time at his national funeral on Tuesday at the Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde, a suggestion was made by a host of 91.9 Sports to honour the memory of Guy Lafleur forever.

As reported by Cimon Asselin of Habsolumentfan.com, Martin Lemay proposed the idea of a Guy Lafleur holiday during the show Le Retour des Sportifs.

He proposed that the day of his birthday, or the day of his death, be a holiday to honor his memory forever and that this day become Guy Lafleur Day.

Lemay went even further by mentioning that the Canadiens organization should have the crowd chanting Guy, Guy, Guy every ten minutes of a period.

You can hear below a very emotional Martin Lemay talking about the blond devil. Emotions guaranteed!
