Grant McCagg, an excessively voluble former Twitter recruiter, strongly criticized Norman Flynn in a tweet, saying that he too often talked about the Montreal Canadiens choosing «KK» over Brady Tkachuk.

"I hear Norm Flynn for five seconds for the first time in many months and he talks about taking «KK» over Tkachukfor the 8979th time. Move on!" said McCagg.

Tony Marinaro, who hosts Flynn on his daily radio show (TSN), was quick to defend his comrade and counterpart in the eyes of all his Twitter followers.

"Imagine having to read the same person tweeting 9000 times as «KK» was the best choice in 3rd place and try to justify it by showing only a few practical statistics and turning a blind eye to other statistics and all other very important intangibles."

McCagg responded, still defending Jesperi Kotkaniemi in an unconvincing manner...

"I'll tell you one thing Tony. I certainly wouldn't have wished the Habs had drafted Tkachuk in game six of the TO series. It was the biggest Canadiens thrill I've had in 26 years. KK with 7 pts in the last 5 games, BTW. Yes standard...a player can improve after the age of 21."

As a spectator, you have to admit that this little war is succulent.
