Some players always give their 100%, in both directions of the ice, but there are others for whom it is sometimes more difficult.
One of those who falls into that category is Montreal Canadiens forward Mike Hoffman.
Journalist Simon-Olivier Lorange, who covers the Habs for La Presse, published a photo that speaks volumes and should serve as an example.
The full video has been deleted, but check out how much of a bystander Hoffman is on this clip, as the Avalanche player is in a very dangerous position.
Instead of attempting a defensive play, or at the very least, instead of being ready to clear a potential return given by Jake Allen, Hoffman is literally dragging his feet, sliding in for a rest, and being completely useless. (Anderson isn't much better)
This is the kind of image that can perfectly explain why the team conceded 8 goals to the opposition last night.
Let's bet that Martin St-Louis and his coaching staff will show them these images, and try to make some corrections.
Let's just say that it's not a very good picture for Hoffman and Anderson.
