Following the major announcement this morning, where the Montreal Canadiens announced the signing of forward Sean Monahan for an additional season, we have just learned some excellent news.
Announcement: Monahan is back on skates!
This comes from the one and only Bob Hartley, who knows Monahan very well.
So, Monahan is indeed back on the ice! This is obviously fantastic news, especially as we are still early in the offseason.
Monahan will apparently have a full summer of preparation for the upcoming season, and that could change everything for him.
All signs point to a 100% fit and physically superb Sean Monahan at the next training camp.
We love it!
Listen to Hartley's comments above, as he gives an excellent rundown of the situation.
Monahan has just signed a one-year contract worth 1.985 million dollars. He scored 17 points in 25 games this season.
