It was game day yesterday for both the Canadiens and the Laval Rocket. Jean-François Houle's protégés were in Belleville, Ontario to face the Senators again. The Rocket won easily by a score of 5-2 on Friday night against the Senators in Laval.
The opposite happened last night as the Rocket lost 5-2. However, what caught our attention in this game was the hit to the head of Ryan Poehling, courtesy of Andrew Agozzino.
The Habs' 2017 first round pick was hit hard in the back of the head by the Senators player. There is a good chance that Poehling suffered another concussion. Recall that he suffered another one during training camp in 2019.
The luck is not smiling on the American center who could well have been recalled soon by the Canadiens with the team's setbacks in the early season. If he is sidelined for a while, another Habs prospect could steal a spot with the big club.
More details should follow in the next few hours.
