It is a sad news that we learn this morning. After the Humboldt Broncos tragedy in April 2018, another car accident has claimed the lives of three young men from the Delta Hockey Academy program. The accident occurred in the city of Surrey, British Columbia.
The driver reportedly lost control of the car and the vehicle struck a tree head-on afterwards. The collision was fatal for the three teenagers, aged between 16 and 17. They were pronounced dead at the scene when emergency services arrived. The identities of the victims have been released. They are Caleb Reimer, Ronin Sharma and Parker Magnuson.
This sad event is certainly reminiscent of the Humboldt Broncos where 16 junior hockey players perished in an accident involving their bus and a semi-truck. In this particular case, the driver of the semi-truck failed to make his mandatory stop, which caused the fatal accident.
The Habs Fanatics team would like to express its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
