Obviously, as we head into the 2021-22 campaign, which will be a real one for the past two years, there are several dates that need to be circled on your calendar so you don't miss anything. Because, you know, July 1st, you don't want to miss it... Although this year, that date had to be rushed once again.
The first date you need to imprint in your brain is: Monday, March 21, 2022. This will be the deadline for making transactions. That's when buyers and sellers meet to make deals.
As for the spring dance, it will be quite close to normal since it will take place from May 2 to June 30. June 30 being the maximum, that is the two finalists that bring the series in seven parts.
Coming back to the famous favorite date of all hockey fans, July 1st, the opening of the free agency, it has been pushed back to July 13th... That's far, but not as far as the 28th, right?
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the 2022 NHL Entry Draft will take place on July 7 and 8, 2022, in Montreal, live from the Bell Centre. Once again, the hockey world will have a big summer.
