Ever since it's suspected that he has evidently played his last career game in the NHL, a big debate has emerged about Carey Price.
It's a controversial topic.
Does Carey deserve a place in the Hockey Hall of Fame?
Well, according to a person very well placed to judge, the answer is no.
According to Bertrand Raymond, who was on the Hall of Fame selection committee, the answer is indeed no.
Why? Because, in his opinion, Price has not won.
See the clip in question:
"Bertrand Raymond was on the Hall of Fame selection committee for many years. According to him, Carey Price doesn't deserve his place there, since he doesn't have a Stanley Cup. What do you think?

That's true. But there are so many other players who have been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame who don't have a Stanley Cup.
The fact is, Price carried on his shoulders, for over a decade, one of the most prestigious franchises in the NHL.
He has been, according to many, the best goalie of his generation. Here's the supporting data:
It is true that Price has not won the ultimate trophy, but on the other hand, he has won everything else, both collectively and individually.
He has won at the Olympics, the World Junior Hockey Championship, in the junior ranks, in the AHL, and much more.
In short, there is no doubt in my mind: Price will have his number retired by the Canadiens, and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
And you, what do you say?
Many expect that Price will be delivered the bad news that he won't be going to the Hall of Fame, but let's wait and see.
Personally, we still firmly believe in it!
