Bob Hartley is a highly respected and admired head coach throughout the hockey world and has been very successful in his career.
Before discovering the excellent Martin St. Louis, following the dismissal of Dominique Ducharme, many Canadiens fans were hoping that Bob would come and lead the Habs. In the end, it didn't work out and we know what happened next.
Hartley, who won the prestigious Stanley Cup and also, the Gagarin Cup (KHL), would be about to announce that he is leaving his current team, the Omsk Avangard, in order to be closer to his family and loved ones here in Quebec. (as reported by 91.9 Sports)
The main interested party has not yet confirmed the news, but let's face it, the source here is very reliable, especially considering the fact that Hartley is a very present columnist on 91.9 Sports.
The whole thing should be announced in the next few hours. Some media outlets are stepping up and saying that Hartley will announce his retirement and end his head coaching career.
Stay tuned!
