Suspended for six games for needlessly hitting goalkeeper Tristan Jarry, Brad Marchand is not very happy to have to stay away from the game for so long.
Not only was he appealing that decision to the NHL Disciplinary Committee, but Marchand also took the time to comment on his suspension, and as has been the case with his previous seven suspensions. Still the Bruins winger still doesn't seem to get the message...
Even if he admits the stupidity of his actions, Marchand simply does not believe that they deserved a suspension, since they did not present a risk of injury to Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry.
Marchand also criticized the legitimacy of his suspension, saying it was based more on his personal history than the act itself.
What is it going to take for Marchand to understand the extent of his actions? Eight suspensions later, he still can't take the blame for all the antics he's been responsible for over the years.
