There has just been a major transaction between the San Jose Sharks and the Carolina Hurricanes.
To the Canes:
Brent Burns and Lane Pederson
To the Sharks :
Steven Lorentz, young goalie Eetu Makiniemi and a conditional 2023 third-round pick.
Please note that the Sharks are holding back 33% of Burns' salary, in addition. Wow.
