Following the first day of the 2022 NHL Combine, the Montreal Canadiens released an interesting video from Martin Lapointe, the Canadiens' Director of Player Personnel and Director of Amateur Scouting.
After officially talking to young Shane Wright, and several other prospects, tonight, the Montreal executives probably have a better idea of their choice, but it's not over yet.
Notably, in the last few minutes, Wright was having dinner with his possible future Tricolore bosses. An important moment!
In short, after this first eventful day, Martin Lapointe wanted to deliver a message to CH fans:
Several good meetings and relevant evaluations were made. Let's remember that, on this subject, and to give more details, the general manager Kent Hughes will be present at a press conference tomorrow at noon.
Don't miss it!
