Joel Teasdale did not play any games due to a very long recovery following a second knee surgery on the same knee. However, the "Tease" will return to the game on Friday, while the Laval Rocket will face the Texas Stars.
Even though the new number 24 was undrafted, he signed a contract as an UFA on September 21, 2018, and he remains an important prospect of the Montreal Canadiens.
He explained why he opted for a sudden change of number from 14 to 24:
«I may be superstitious a bit, but with the 14th, I've hurt my knee twice. A little change will do me good.» - Teasdale
For a Rouyn-Noranda Huskies fan like me, I remember this number 24, who played crippled to lift the Memorial Cup!
