There was some good news at the Montreal Canadiens pre-game practice this morning: Jeff Petry and Joel Armia skated.
Will the veterans be in uniform for tonight's game against the Blues in St. Louis?
A decision will most likely be made during the warm-up period, but all indications are that Petry doesn't look quite right as he practiced on the 4th pair with Corey Schueneman.
In the case of Joel Armia, he was on the 2nd unit with Ryan Poehling and Jo Drouin, which indicates that he should be wearing his game jersey tonight.
So here is the potential lineup for tonight:
Hoffman - Suzuki - Lehkonen
Drouin - Poehling - Armia
Pezzetta - Perreault - Caufield
Paquette - Dauphin - Ylonen
Chiarot - Savard
Romanov - Wideman
Kulak - Clague
With Armia on the second line, Jake Evans slightly injured, Dominique Ducharme had to adjust his combinations, so Jesse Ylonen will be on the 4?!?!
Don't be surprised... Jake Allen will be the starting goalie to face the St. Louis Blues.
