With just hours to go before their showdown with the Montreal Canadiens in Carolina, the Hurricanes jumped on the ice in the final seconds and head coach Rod Brind'Amour unveiled his new lineup:
Teravainen-Aho-Jarvis
Svechnikov-Trocheck-Domi
Niedereiter-Staal-Fast
Martinook-Stepan-Necas
Slavin-De Angelo
Skjei-Pesce
Smith-Cole
And goaltender Frederik Andersen, who is having a really good season, will be in net for his team.
You'll notice that for the first time since his arrival in Carolina, CH veteran Max Domi leaves the fourth line and is promoted to the Hurricanes' top-6.
His new linemates? The excellent Andrei Svechnikov and Vincent Trocheck. The Canes are definitely giving him a great opportunity to shine against his former club.
As for the other former Hab, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, he will be out of the lineup (injury).
More details to come!
