Carey Price is a sensation in Quebec and fans love him
We told you about it last week, but Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price generously accepted to come to the Quebec City International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament to meet fans, sign autographs and take pictures.
The event was scheduled for today, and Carey was a big hit in Quebec City to say the least.
As reported by the TVA network, there is a huge craze for Price in Quebec City. Hundreds, if not thousands, of fans showed up at the Videotron Center to meet the star goalie.
A promotional activity that is a great success for the Pee-Wee Tournament.
See an excerpt from the TVA Sports report:
"Some of them, including many children, had been lining up since 8 a.m. this morning, when the autograph session was scheduled to begin around 1:15 p.m. [...] About 250 people will be able to get an autograph from number 31 this afternoon.
At noon, the Pee-Wee Tournament organization announced that they would no longer accept anyone in line. But some fans have joined in, hoping Price will stay a little longer."
