We told you about it earlier today, goaltender Carey Price gave an interesting press conference today and spoke about several issues, including his future in the National Hockey League. Read the details here:
He also spoke about the future of another goaltender in the organization, Quebec's Samuel Montembeault.
Regarding his young teammate, Carey had this to say:
"I think he's a great goaltender... I definitely think we can play better in front of him but at the end of the day, I think he's a very good goalie." - Carey Price
The number 31 seemed to send a nice motivational message to his team and his organization: they have good elements in place, but as many have been mentioning for the past few days, the team absolutely must find a way to play better defensively.
Going back to Montembeault, for Carey, there is no doubt. The Quebec goalie has the potential to be a great NHL goalie, he said, « I think he's a great goalie ». Imagine how much confidence it gives Sam to hear that!
It also sends a message to the management, who will have decisions to make this summer, especially about the future of Samuel Montembeault in Montreal.
If it was your decision, what would you do?
