The Montreal Canadiens had taken a good momentum in the last game against the Hurricanes. Dominique Ducharme's team had scored the first goal of the game, thanks to a deflection of Brendan Gallagher. However, the Habs had their legs cut off as the goal was disallowed due to obstruction on Frederik Andersen.
A decision that has caused a lot of discussion in the NHL. Obviously, head coach Dominique Ducharme did not agree with the decision of the officials who disallowed the goal.
This morning, during his morning press conference, he elaborated on the main plan for his team for tonight's game. He even allowed himself to make a humorous remark to the NHL to show his displeasure with the goal denied last game.
Remember that scoring the first goal is super important in hockey. It builds confidence for the team ahead early in the game.
Yes, it was humorous, but I'm sure there was a lot of truth in it.
