After the Montreal Canadiens' morning practice, Jake Allen confirmed that he would be ready to start the game against the Capitals in Washington. Allen feels fully recovered from his concussion, which is great news in itself. Although Samuel Montembeault has grown a lot in his last two games...
Allen has been officially cleared for the last two full practices and has been able to complete them without any concerns. I remind you that the interim number one goaltender was absent for ten days due to a collision with Dylan Larkin.
Here is what Dominique Ducharme had to say about it:
Brett Kulak, who practiced this morning, did not accompany the team to Washington with a lower-body injury.
This week, the Habs will take a short road trip, with stops in Washington on Wednesday, Buffalo on Friday and Pittsburgh on Saturday.
